Star Wars Battlefront finally finished the game!

As someone who still plays video games time to time and being a star wars fan, I always get a hankering for some star wars video game action.  Well, last November many of my friends and I went out and got the game. To some of our surprise there was no real single player mode. They created a horde style mode where you fight 15 waves of enemies as a generic star wars character or one of the heroes or villains. The maps were basic at best and when they created new maps (one for free I might add) I couldn't play in them unless it was multiplayer. I was quite disappointed. Even John Boyega (co-star in the Force Awakens) wanted to know where the single player campaign was. The only good news was split screen co-op. I wanted to get rid of the game because it lacked any reason for me to come back to it as it got old... real fast. I carried a hope that they would add a single player mode of some sort, but with EA things like that usually don't happen.

Fast Forward to July 2016 and EA finally listens to fans and adds a single player experience called Skirmish mode. This mode give you the Walker Assault  and Fighter Squadron modes in an offline single player or split-screen co-op experience. YAY! I can play the way I want to offline or online. Only if Titanfall would have done that, I wouldn't have a $60 paperweight. I guess I'll take a part 2 instead.
